Japanese Sources in Translation
A Bibliographic Online Resource for the Study of Japanese History
This site allows you to search an indexed database of bibliographical entries of translations of Japanese-language sources pertaining to history and thought in the broadest sense, covering all periods of text production in Japan. The database currently contains 309 entries. Please note that the translations themselves are not included here; this is not a full-text database.
This database is based on the effort of the world-wide Japanese studies community. If you cannot find a translation that you know of when searching the database, you can help to further expand it by submitting an entry. Please be sure to read the Guide to Submitting before attempting to submit a new entry.
Please navigate this site through the menu on the left-hand side and change the menu language by choosing from the options on the right-hand side.
